For families with the fewest resources, every one of these stages is a mile they have to travel alone.

Our Signature Program

Project Sobati partners with Anganwadi centers to strengthen early childhood development and support the early identification of developmental differences. With permission to work across 268 Anganwadi centers in PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation), and 178 centers in (Pune-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation), we are well on our way to close the last mile.

Community Sessions

Our FRC group sessions create a supportive space where children can build skills, confidence, and independence alongside their peers. Small groups are thoughtfully designed around each child’s strengths, interests, and individual goals, with activities that support communication, social interaction, functional skills, and participation. Our educators follow each child’s lead, adapting activities to make learning engaging and meaningful. Families also receive practical resources and session recordings to help carry the learning beyond the FRC and into everyday life.

Supporting Parents in the Journey

Our small-group sessions are designed around each child’s individual goals, strengths, interests, and functional abilities. We follow the child’s lead to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences that build on what they can do. Parents also receive access to session recordings and customized resources developed by our special educators, extending learning beyond the program.

Saarthi is Saamarthya’s annual signature resource fair, bringing together families of children with developmental and learning needs and a multidisciplinary network of experts—all under one roof.
Launched in 2025, Saarthi provides families with free, personalized guidance to better understand their child’s needs, access specialized services, and navigate available resources and support.

Bringing knowledge, tools, and support directly to children

Bringing support and local capacity where they are most needed

We equipped caregivers working with children of migrant construction workers with practical strategies to identify developmental needs and support children within their everyday crèche routines.
Through intensive, hands-on training for caregivers of children 0–3 and 3–6 years, we are building local capacity where it matters most—closer to the child, closer to the family, and closer to where support is needed.
