Occupational Therapy (OT) is a transformative field that empowers individuals to engage in the activities essential for daily living with independence and confidence.

For neurodivergent kids with Autism, IDD, Learning Disability, ADHD and other learning differences, this might mean learning basic activities like eating, getting dressed, writing, taking care of themselves etc.

Through a blend of creativity and expertise, Occupational Therapists at Saamarthya Foundation facilitate skill development in areas such as movement, fine motor coordination, cognitive processes, and emotional understanding, all within the framework of enjoyable activities tailored to each child's unique needs and interests.

Our goal is to is to help kids become more independent and confident in doing things by themselves.

At Saamarthya Foundation, we offer a comprehensive range of OT services to address the multifaceted needs of children:

Occupational Therapy Assessment: Our initial assessments serve as the cornerstone of our intervention process, allowing us to gain insight into each child's strengths, challenges, and aspirations.

Sensory Integration Therapy: Sensory processing challenges are common among neurodivergent children, impacting their ability to engage effectively with their environment. Our sensory integration therapy aims to promote adaptive responses to sensory input, fostering improved attention, regulation, and participation in daily activities.

ADL (Activities of Daily Learning): Mastery of activities essential for daily living is a fundamental aspect of fostering independence and self-confidence in children. Through ADL training, we equip children with the skills necessary to navigate their daily routines with ease and proficiency.

We identify the child's needs and goals, establish a baseline of their abilities, create a personalized intervention plan, monitor progress, enhance participation in meaningful activities, and provide education and support to the kids and their parents or caregivers. By working collaboratively with families, we strive to empower both children and their support networks to foster continued growth and development beyond the therapy session. This holistic approach helps improve the child's independence and quality of life.

At Saamarthya Foundation, we're committed to empowering neurodivergent children and their caregivers.
